SUBMISSION AND SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Currently accepting standard size sports cards (1957 to present) and vintage size cards (1952 - 1956 Topps size) submitted values up to $10,000.00 per card. We are not grading any card with evidence of possible trimming or restoration, any card with questionable authenticity or evidence of counterfeiting, autographed cards unless factory issued, hand-numbered cards, Star Co. and certain other issues. We maintain the right to reject any card submitted.

  2. Complete submission form with name, address, phone number and account number. If you do not have an account number, one will be issued to you.

  3. Choose your Grading Service. Only one type of grading service allowed per submission form (i.e. 2 Days, 5 Days, etc.).

  4. Return shipping via United Parcel Service. Choose either UPS Ground, 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air (see charts for fees). Ground service will be used unless otherwise noted.

  5. Have all sports cards in top loading semi-rigid holders to prevent damage during shipping. No screw down or snap-type holders will be accepted.

  6. List cards you are submitting with quantity, sport, year of issue, complete brand and set name, variation, card number, player’s name and your declared value. Cards must be kept in exact order as listed on form.

  7. Figure your total due by multiplying the number of cards submitted by the grading service you choose. Ohio residents add 6 percent sales tax. Add on the totals from the return shipping/insurance/handling chart provided. UPS 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air is an additional charge (see charts for fees) and must be included in the total. if air fees are not included, packages will be shipped UPS Ground. Add all the amounts together to determine the total due.

  8. Select your payment option. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, check or money order payable to Advanced Grading Specialists, Inc. (AGS). Please be sure to fill in all credit card information along with your signature. All payments must be in U.S. funds.

  9. Sign, date and return the submission form with your package (unsigned forms will not be processed). Make a copy of the submission form for your records.

  10. Ship your sports cards along with the submission form, for processing, to: Advanced Grading Specialists, Inc. (Master Distributor) 115 East Main Street, Leipsic, Ohio 45856. If sending more than one submission form, please have the correct submission form attached to the proper cards. Have your cards securely packaged and insured.

  11. To validate turnaround time on 2nd Day Grading Services, the package must have 2-Day Grading Service written on the outer shipping box. All guaranteed turn-around times represent business days (excluding holidays). Return shipping days are not included in our grading service turnaround times.

  12. Send all correspondence to Advanced Grading Specialists, Inc., P.O. Box 299, Findlay, OH 45839-0299.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. Timing -- AGS will use reasonable efforts to grade cards in a prompt manner. However, AGS will have no liability whatsoever to the customer for any damages due to AGS’s failure to grade any card within any time frame.

  2. Limitations on Grading Services -- AGS will not issue a grade for any card which (1) AGS believes bears evidence of alteration or tampering or (2) AGS believes to be of questionable authenticity. the customer understands that in such an event AGS will not refund any fee paid for the grading service.

  3. Subjectivity of Grading Services -- Limitation of Liability for Grading. All parties understand and agree that the professional opinion required in grading cards involves AGS’s subjective judgment. Consequently, AGS makes no warranty or representation and shall have no liability whatsoever to the customer for the grade assigned by AGS to any card.

  4. Limitation of Liability for Card Damage -- All parties agree that (a) AGS’s liability for cards lost or damaged will be limited to (i) damages caused by AGS incurred while the card is actually in the physical possession of AGS, (specifically excluding any damage incurred during shipping) and (ii) the amount of damages will be limited to the true value of the card and not based upon any insured value; and (b) AGS shall have no liability whatsoever to any party or person for any damages resulting from removing the card from the AGS cardholder.

  5. Inspection -- The customer agrees to inspect all cards, immediately upon receipt and report any damage or discrepancy to AGS within five (5) days of customer’s receipt of cards. Failure to properly inspect, identify, and report the discrepancy or error to AGS within five (5) days of customer receipt of the card will make the customers/submitter financially liable for any and all losses and/or claims caused by the circulation or sale of the mismarked or inappropriately identified card.

  6. Shipping -- The Parties agree that all cards being sent to AGS must be packaged and shipped in strict compliance with AGS’s packaging and shipping instructions.

  7. EXCLUSION AND LIMITATION OF WARRANTIES, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN, AGS DISCLAIMS (a) ALL WARRANTIES, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, (b) ALL OTHER REPRESENTATIONS MADE BY THE UNDERSIGNED AND (c) ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES WITH RESPECT TO ITS GRADING SERVICE.

    IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS ARE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED.

    THERE ARE NOT WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE FACE HEREOF.

  8. There are no representations, statements, warranties or agreements except as expressly set forth herein. The parties agree that this AGS Card Submission Form embodies the entire understanding of the parties, and there are not further or other agreements or understandings, written or oral, in effect between the parties relating to this subject matter unless expressly referred to in this AGS Card Submission Form.
